We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Purchasing Clerk to join our team in Chanute, KS.
You will work on a fast-paced team of individuals who provide administrative accounting and purchasing support to our facilities.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Generate, maintain, and reconcile all accounts payable records
Process and mail/deposit accounts payable payments
Scan and file all payable records
Communicate professionally with accounts payable contacts by phone and email
Other duties as assigned by the leadership team
Purchasing:
Generate, maintain, and reconcile purchase orders
Complete receiving tasks, and ensure the accuracy of material receipts
Communicate with vendors by phone and email
Other duties as assigned by the leadership team
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in Excel (functions, data movement, etc.
)
Great written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Analytical and numerical skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
An associate's degree in a related field
Prior experience in an accounting role
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of GL accounting processes
