JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting on financial information, including accounts receivable, payroll and inventory.
Assists in forecasting and budgeting financial results monthly and yearly.
Provides detailed project data for business analytics and project performance reviews.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTING
Maintain project schedule showing accumulated costs, estimated costs, gross margin and other project cost details.
Monitor percentage of completion accounting including contract assets and liabilities.
Prepare and distribute accounting reports as instructed (weekly results, labor hour reporting and other management reports).
Sort, compile, and enter data into financial systems to ensure accurate and expedient processing for payroll, accounts receivable, inventory and month end closing.
Maintain receivable listing, issue invoices and credit memos, and customer data maintenance.
Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
Assist in preparation of weekly cost reporting, monthly forecasts, and yearly budgets.
OTHER DUTIES
Support project review, data analysis and project management department phase gate reviews
Analyze actual manufacturing costs, review compared to standard costs and investigate cost deviations to determine variance explanations.
Maintain KPIs and other metrics.
Assist with inventory accounting and accuracy, as well as full physical inventory.
Interface with Internal and External audit as needed.
Perform special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
5 years experience - manufacturing environment preferred
And/or equivalent experience
