Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to the following:
1.
Obtain forklift certification.
2.
Assemble stainless piping to provide proper rinse flow.
3.
Use 5 step sanitation rinse cycle to the interior of proper product lines and equipment.
4.
Mixes appropriate chemical solutions for the 5 step rinse cycle.
5.
Monitors the effectiveness of the rinse cycle to ensure proper cleaning.
6.
Uses safety precautions when handling chemicals, and hazardous materials.
7.
Manually removes mineral deposits and residues with cleaners as needed.
8.
Uses pressure water or manually scrubs the outside of the equipment.
9.
Tears filters apart and cleans filter blankets, and replaces gaskets.
10.
Adheres to health and safety requirements and GMP’s.
11.
Rebuilds filters when time permits or as required, and scrubs filters weekly.
12.
Monitors and records results of chlorine tests performed during rinses.
13.
Completes the sanitation checklist daily.
14.
Responsible for cleaning in and out of place, clean/sanitize all food contact equipment.
15.
Utilize various people lifts to complete assigned tasks.
