Job Summary: Prepares meals for residents in accordance to procedures and is responsible for quantity of food prepared and quality of finished product.
Job Responsibilities: Preparing meals for residents following menus and guidelines provided.
Record temperatures of food and equipment as required.
Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize dining area and kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal.
Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas Job Qualifications & Skills: Ability to understand and follow basic cooking directions.
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
