APC Solar is a turnkey solar provider solely dedicated to the commercial market in the Midwest.
We are growing and are adding more administrative positions to our very talented team of solar veterans.
The Solar Admin plays an integral role in our project management teams.
This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support functions.
We are seeking someone with high energy and great interpersonal skills to join our team who can multi-task and work in a fun and very fast paced environment.
\*A working knowledge of Solar Equipment, Electrical Materials and Operational Construction Process is required to apply for this position.
Job Description Summary: This position provides administrative support to sales and operations; coordinating and communicating with management and outside contacts.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with office procedures including contracts, purchasing, project management.
(This is NOT a bookkeeping position)
* Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities
* Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls regarding customers and suppliers
* Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level staff such as CEOs, presidents, senior vice presidents, and chiefs
* Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
* Acts as project manager for special projects at the request of the GM which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, organizing work and complying with deadlines and priorities.
* Establishing and maintaining confidential files and documentation using CRM software.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
Experience: 2 plus years of related Solar experience is required
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs to include Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills: This position requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality and the ability to work independently under general instructions and in a timely manner.
Must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, must exercise sound judgment flexibility initiative and commitment.
Internal policies knowledge is highly desirable as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships.
