POSITION SUMMARY We’re growing our teams and business in our newly acquired manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma.
This former pet treats factory, bordering Kansas and Missouri–sitting just over an hour away from Tulsa, OK and Springfield, MO–was selected for its current and future pet treats production capabilities and shared commitment to quality and safety.
We’re bringing industry-leading knowledge and experience to this venture as we expand our in-house capabilities for dog and cat treat innovation and production.
Are you up for the challenge? The Clerk provides direction and support to the Shippers and Receivers and ensures the accurate, efficient, and timely handling of all inbound and outbound shipments.
Interfaces with OKM associates at all levels, external carriers and agencies, visitors, and others providing general assistance.
Maintains a good working relationship with all internal and external customers, truck drivers, team members, etc.
Updates OEE spreadsheet.
Perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity Check drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating product Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperwork Coordinate movement of trailers Actively participate in continuous improvement projects through proactive and reactive efforts including incident/root cause investigation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions pertaining to Q&FS and continuous improvement of plant operations Update all OEE reports using daily DDS reports from each shift.
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting and may include updating the site monthly scorecard (production and logistics sections) Prioritize and manage workload with various tools Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years of warehouse coordinating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, or military environment The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
