Position Overview
The Project Manager Senior – Hydro (Electrical) is an exempt position that will organize, lead, and help execute Generation Support Engineering projects, inclusive of coordination of construction management that may fall outside the scope of regular duties of the generation plant managers.
The electrical projects manager ensures the scope of the project fits the budget and that staff complete each phase of the project within the scheduled timeline.
Example projects: Salina Pumped Storage generation equipment modernization, Salina Pumped Storage Powerhouse Ventilation, Pensacola Dam Spillway Gallery Ventilation Improvements.
The position will coordinate closely with Generation Engineering Project Manager – Special Projects.
While the emphasis of the position is to coordinate projects and construction associated with electrical, mechanical, and control systems as opposed to civil and structural works, the assignments may when necessary cover a broader scope of work.

· GRDA Contract expertise and Hydroelectric Plant Technical Expert in Operations and Maintenance.
· Projects may be at any of the hydropower, thermal or other generation facilities
· Expertise in GRDA Hydro Plant equipment, function, and operation is required
· Expertise in thermal facility equipment a plus.
Education, Training, Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: business administration, architectural engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management or a combination of education/experience desirable and can be substituted for on the job experience.
Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:
· Valid driver’s license
Other information:
· Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on uneven surfaces, climb flights of stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Position will be stationed at Salina or Chouteau facilities.
Projects and Project Manager’s availability will be required at the project locations.
· Project locations may be at any GRDA generation facility and may include GRDA Transmission facilities when necessary.
