Deborah Beachner, 100% owner of RFB Construction, is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a strong track record of performance in a high-paced industry.

*Job Title: Diesel Mechanic*

*Job Summary:*
A Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the equipment in the fleet while ensuring all safety requirements are met.
This includes repair and preventative maintenance of equipment as necessary to ensure proper operating condition.
*Responsibilities*:
· Performs repairs and routine preventive maintenance on company vehicles and trailers, skid steers and miscellaneous equipment.
· Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
· Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
· Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
· Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
· Maintains a safe, clean, productive, and efficient work area.
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance.
· Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods and practices of engine repair, mechanical and electrical systems, and maintenance.
· Working knowledge of safe equipment practices.
· Education/certifications are a plus.
· Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
· Competency using various computer systems to record and document repairs and diagnose problems.
· Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
· Possess the recommended minimum hand tools for a Diesel Mechanic.
· Valid driver's license- CDL preferred, but not required.
· Basic computer & mathematical skills.
