Production Associate

*The Opportunity* Sunflower Hemp Co is seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Pittsburg, KS.

Sunflower Hemp Co.
is a licensed hemp processor and cGMP certified facility seeking a quality candidate to lead its growing gummy manufacturing line.
* *Shift: Day/evening * *What you will be doing:* Gummy Tech will work safely and in compliance with cGMPs and company policies.
This position is considered a production position which will require this individual to be able to follow instruction from lab manager, fill gummy production orders, work on the gummy production line.
The Gummy tech will work with the gummy line lead to ensure production schedules, monitoring production speeds and quality checks are being met and report directly to the Lab Manager.
*Responsibilities:* Assist in the production of gummies, pack gummies.
Maintain a level of professionalism with a sense of urgency.
Tech is expected to know all aspects of production from “popping” gummies to de-tagging and packaging.
*Requirements:* Preferably 1+ years of food production or manufacturing experience within a GMP compliant facility.
Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
Ability to follow written instruction including Manufacturing batch records, Safety policies, and Quality requirements.
Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.
Experience in food manufacturing, nutraceutical manufacturing, or possess mechanical aptitude.
*Education:* * High School Diploma/Certificate; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
