*Job Title: Maintenance Technician*
*Job Summary: *We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The Maintenance Technician must ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our printing equipment, machinery, and facilities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electronics aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of printing equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with printing equipment and machinery and perform repairs as needed.
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
* Coordinate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts and supplies inventory.
* Assist in installing, setting up, and calibrating new equipment and machinery.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures and participate in safety training programs.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives related to equipment maintenance and operation.
*Desired Experience/Knowledge:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance training preferred.
* Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the printing industry.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
* Familiarity with printing equipment and machinery, such as offset presses, digital printers, bindery equipment, and finishing machines, preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
This position is for the day-shift.
*Note:* Pay will be based on previous experience.
