, a leader in the beef cattle feed industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Representative to support our sales initiative and contribute to our company’s aggressive growth plans.
As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and executing strategies that drive sales performance in your region.
You will be expected to embrace Suther Feeds stated mission and core values and demonstrate support for them through professional interaction and performance of job duties.
Responsibilities:
● Cultivate relationships with existing clients and dealers.
● Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
● Execute a structured sales plan to achieve assigned sales targets within the territory.
● Drive product sales growth in: Beef Cow/Calf, Stocker/Backgrounder and Finish Yard.
● Utilize sales and service skills and reflect the ability to work independently to close deals.
● Manage, document, and evaluate customer/prospect engagement utilizing Suther’s proprietary Customer Tracking System, CTS.
● Grow your knowledge and application of ruminant nutrition and ration formulation with company guided development and support.
● Territory of Southcentral and Southeast Kansas, approximately 20 to 30 counties.
Education/Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in animal science or similar field preferred.
● OR, minimum two years of professional-level experience working in cattle production.
● Proven customer service and sales skills.
● The ability to work independently and travel as needed.
● Detail-oriented and willingness to learn and adapt with technology.
● Creative problem-solving skills; critical and creative thinker.
● Exceptional organizational skills: ability to set priorities and adapt as these priorities shift, handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
● Display excellent judgment, while operating in a flexible and professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $100,000.
