*Quapaw Casino * *Job Description* *position: C-Store Clerk* *department: *C-Store *reports to: *C-Store Manager *gaming license rank: *Key *job salary grade: *Hourly/Non-Exempt *Wage range: *$10-$12/hourly *Job Summary: * The C-Store Clerk is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, and performing the many duties entailed in the daily operations of the convenience store.
*DUTIES And Responsibilities * * Customer Satisfaction is our top priority- which means going above and beyond to keep our customer happy.
* Assist customers with all purchases; proficiently operate cash drawer.
* Make sure the shelves, freezers, floor coolers, drink stations, and food stations are properly stocked.
* Assist with putting away stock on delivery days.
* Make sure store merchandise is displayed properly and neatly.
* Assist with food preparation ensuring food and safety standards are met.
* Assist with the general daily cleaning of the C-Store and parking lot to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
* Maintains a professional work environment with customers and co-workers.
* Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
* Attend all necessary training meetings and assist in other projects as directed.
*QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS* To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.
* High school diploma or its equivalent required.
* Previous customer service experience is preferred.
* Must possess excellent communication skills.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
* Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.
* Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.
* Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid liquor license through the State of Oklahoma A.

* Must maintain a valid Food Handler Permit.
* Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
