Title: Human Resources Project Manager
Location: Wyandotte, OK
Summary:
The Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing complex projects in the Human Resources arena for the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma (WTOK).
Working with interdepartmental teams, the HR Project Manager will lead the team in organizing, developing, researching, analyzing, and providing recommendations to management on a variety of projects.
Projects may range from large scale enterprise solutions, to small scale local taskings.
Responsibilities:
· Lead an interdepartmental team to complete a project to specifications, and on time with accuracy and efficiency.
· Outline tasks involved in the project.
· Develop and manage the project plan.
· Document project timeline, critical path, and mile posts.
· Track and manage key issues, risks, and project decisions.
· Act as a liaison between employees, customers, and vendors.
· Communicate with all stakeholders by providing regular project status reports.
· Plan and conduct meetings as required.
· Lead the team in analyzing risks and solving problems as they develop.
· Lead the team in finding and implementing enterprise HR Information Systems solution.
Qualifications:
· Must have five (5) years’ experience in a Human Resources leadership role.
· Must demonstrate a solid knowledge of Human Resources laws, regulations, policies, and processes.
· Must have experience working with HR Information systems.
· Must have solid analytical skills with the ability to comprehend, assess, document, and improve complex business processes.
· Must have excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Must have the ability to work with team members both face-to-face and in virtual environments.
· Must have the ability to facilitate meetings, capture main actions, and own the process.
Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and technical writing
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Smartsheet, SAS, or VersionOne
- Experience in IT project management is a plus
- Ability to effectively present information to top management
- Strong vendor management skills
