Bell Management is looking to hire a property manager in training.
This position will begin as an assistant manager role with the goal of becoming a property manager within 3-6 months.
A property manager's duties include:
* Maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
* Attracting tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
* Contracting with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.
* Accomplishing financial objectives by collecting rent and fees.
* Maintaining property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services
* Maintaining building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
* Enforcing occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
* Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
* Managing maintenance staff.
* Managing maintenance expenses closely.
Must pass a criminal background check and have reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.
