*We have your dream job! We are looking for a Lab leader to manage a great team at our Barton County CoxHealth Hospital in Lamar, Missouri.
This position is sign-on bonus eligible, no weekends and available to all applicants who are either a Histology Tech or a Medical Technologist (MLS)*
* This upper level leader will be responsible for assisting the Director of Laboratory Services in leading and managing the laboratory department, department programs, defining the mission, goals, budget, and performance standards to produce desired outcomes.
*Job Requirements*
* *Education*
Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with Medical Technologist or Histology Technologist certification OR Certified as a Histology Technician from a nationally accredited certifying agency
* *Experience*
Required: 3 years experience in one or more disciplines of laboratory medicine Preferred: Prior Managerial/Supervisory Experience
* *Skills*
Excellent organizational, customer relations, planning and analytical skills.
Strong mental and visual concentration.
Working knowledge of computer, computerized equipment, prev.
exp, in lab, organization, team skills
Ability to monitor and compile data and disseminate results to multiple levels of leaders and employees.
Must be able to initiate and understand research related to projects; proficient in Microsoft office
* *Licensure/Certification/Registration*
Required: Certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP)/ Clinical Laboratory Scientist or as a Histology Technician/Technologist from a nationally recognized laboratory certifying agency

Pay: From $60,900.
