Chanute Manufacturing Company has an immediate opening for a QC/QA Manager.
The qualified candidate should have a working experience in the steel fabrication industry with knowledge of ASME Section I and Section VIII being a plus.
Duties include managing daily activities of the quality control and radiography departments, interpreting global specifications and customer needs, approving vendors and tracking quality and performance, overseeing process improvement companywide, ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Applicable skills include excellent communication skills and the ability to work with customers and co-workers in a professional and proficient manner, knowledge of NDE including: PT, MT, RT Interpretation and other Non-Destructive Testing, good organizational and multi-tasking skills, the ability to proficiently use software programs Excel, Word, and Microsoft Projects, and the ability to effectively manage 5-7 Quality Control Inspectors.
