MSSU is currently seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor Position in the McCune Brooks Foundation Department of Nursing starting August 1st 2024 in Joplin, Missouri.
Successful candidates should be prepared to teach baccalaureate-level nursing courses, clinical, and simulation, or have demonstrated expertise in pediatric and adult health.
Other specialty areas of study may be acceptable.
The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level.
A Master’s Degree in Nursing Education is required.
A doctorate degree in nursing (DNP or Ph.
D.
) is preferred.

An unencumbered Missouri or compact licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Candidates must be approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing prior to an offer of employment.
