The Missouri Southern State University Psychology Department is seeking candidates for a 10-/12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position on its Joplin, Missouri campus beginning June 1, 2024.
A Ph.
D.
in Psychology or related field is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered with a commitment to complete a Ph.
D.
Multiple areas of specialization that support an Applied Behavior Analysis program (e.
g.
, Developmental, Clinical, Applied Behavior Analysis) will be considered.
Ideal candidates will have BCBA certification and have clinical experience in ABA.
The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level.
Successful candidates should be prepared to teach General Psychology, research-specific courses (e.
g.
, Thesis), and Applied Behavior Analysis courses.
Other responsibilities include student advising and recruitment, and active participation in service and scholarship activities including supporting an ABA clinic.
