Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations.
This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, vans, box trucks, and manual transmission vehicles
- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
- Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods
Experience:
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with operating tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, vans, box trucks, and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills
