ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Meeting and greeting customers with a warm welcome and smile.
Handling customer complaints and comments.
Complete daily checklist as required.
Ensure any cash overage/shortage is accounted for and balanced.
Adhering to rate and credit policies and procedures.
Addressing problems and concerns.
Motivate and lead by example for all team members.
Attend departmental meetings to review guest scores, new procedures and other important information.
Responsible for understanding and adhering to attendance guidelines set forth in the employee handbook; expected to report to work on scheduled days and at scheduled times.
Knowledge and operation of brand operating system.
Communicate with all hotel departments efficiently.
Check guest in/out, room assignments and special request.
Knowledge of accounting, cash handling, credit and billing procedures for all transactions.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Customer service experience required.
High school diploma required.
COMPETENCIES Excellence in communication both verbal and written.

Self-motivated, well organized, and goal-oriented.
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer software skills.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE Reports to the General Manager and AGM.
This position does not have supervisory responsibility WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including evenings, weekends, and holidays WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT AND BASIC UNDERSTANDING The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
