Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Developer to work remotely to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades.
Refactoring existing application code to migrate into customer’s Cloud environment.
Providing software process management and configuration management throughout the development lifecycle.
Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large scale software solutions.
Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Migrating and developing software products to be used on a variety of platforms.
Using Configuration Management (CM) tools and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
Designing, developing, and documenting system and subsystem-level code.
This includes support for system requirements, preliminary design, detailed design and specifications, data dictionaries, interface control/design documents, user help information/manuals, maintenance information/manuals, operations information/manuals, program code, quality assurance activities, and test.
Using object-oriented techniques, programming languages, and Agile development methodologies.
Performing system and unit level testing.
This includes test plans and procedures, documentation of test results and development of special test code.
Plans/conducts regression tests after each code modification, upgrade enhancement.
Interacting with project customers and stakeholders to report project status and manage subsystems requirements.
Refactoring and developing web services.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
5 years of Software Development experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Web software development and design.
Proficient with applications in both Linux and Windows environments.
Full stack development experience (C++, JAVA, XML/XSD, MongoDB, JSON, Javascript, Angular JS), scripting language experience, (Python or Perl), JAVA GUI development experience and Web framework experience.
Experience documenting program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instruction so others can understand the program.
Experience developing customized applications to run on a Linux-based system.
Experience with virtualized computing, i.
e.
Virtual Machines, ESXi, Docker, etc.
Experience developing software applications using relational databases (Oracle, SQL, Postgres) and persistence abstractions such as JPA/Hibernate.
Experience with web services (JSON, RESTful and SOAP, XML).
Experience with the following tools and concepts: User and Team Accessibility and access control Issue tracking and project management Requirements tracing, documentation management, collaboration Source code management and software artifact storage Automated build, test, deployment pipelines Code, application dependency, and container and scanning Container image storage Application production hosting (Path to Prod) Cloud Platform (AWS, VMWare Tanzu Kubernetes) Azure, DevOps, Grafana, Gatekeeper Preferred Qualifications: Security+ CE or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II satisfying certification.
Experience containerizing and deploying applications using CI/CD tools.
Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Junit, and Maven.
Knowledge and experience with DevSecOps and/or a DevSecOps certification.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
The projected compensation range for this position is $90,200-$149,600.
There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
