Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleaning Technician to join our team.
As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and ensuring the overall appearance of various facilities.
This will include medical facilites and office spaces.
You will play a vital role in providing a safe and clean environment for our clients and customers.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
-Must have a valid driver's license
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills:
- Cleaning techniques: Proficient in various cleaning techniques to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness: Ability to consistently maintain cleanliness standards throughout assigned areas.
- Porter duties: Familiarity with porter duties including trash removal, sweeping, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas.
- Commercial cleaning: Understanding of commercial cleaning practices and procedures.
- Custodial tasks: Proficient in custodial tasks such as restroom cleaning, trash removal, and surface sanitization.
- Industrial cleaning: Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods for specialized environments.
