Skills
* You must love dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and breeds, and be comfortable handling them.
* Exceptional management skills and experience managing all aspects of a business including HR, financials, customer service, inventory, etc.
* Great communicator with good grammar.
* Ability to micro-task and handle the stress of a ringing phone, a barking dog, and a client walking in at the same time.
* Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
* Computer savvy, experience with Microsoft and/or Google suites.
Ability to quickly learn the online business management platform to schedule appointments, track and communicate with clients, etc.
* Although not always required, the ability to work a weekend shift, holiday, or fill in for a night-time boarding session.
* This position will be also be responsible for running the front office which includes scheduling appointments, checking customers out, etc.
* Willingness to cross train and be able to jump in emergencies to help bathe or care for dogs.
* Reliable transportation.

* Treat our pets with the utmost respect and compassion and shower them with love and affection.
* All aspects of business management including HR, staffing, forecasting, budgeting, inventory, safety, etc.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
* Patience to deal with any dog or cat who may be anxious or acting up and interact in a soothing and calm manner.
* Cleaning and sanitizing the front office daily and other areas as needed.
* Filling in when needed to take care of bathing or boarding pets which includes feeding, taking out of play and potty breaks, sanitizing, freshening up pet areas, etc.
* Assist with other duties as assigned.
* Adhere to safety and quality standards.
* This position requires standing, walking and carrying pets that could weigh over 50 pounds.
Additionally, you assist around the office by performing basic functions such as making copies, requesting proof of immunizations, processing the mail, counting the cash box, etc.
You clean the office area and front kennels at the end of the day and clean the boarding area upon occasion when needed.
All employees lightly clean around the resort as needed, picking up trash, wiping up spills, and cleaning dirty spots.
If a coworker needs assistance with other tasks, you are happy to jump in and help.

* Cleanliness and sanitation are important parts of our work.
At the end of each shift, employees have a list of cleaning duties such as sweeping and moping floors, cleaning kennels, removing pet waste, laundry and sanitizing all surfaces.
Are you willing to perform cleaning tasks?
* We are unable to grant time off during major holidays.
We do close on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day and July 4.
This job may also require you to work the occasional Saturday and or fill in to assist with a holiday or nighttime boarding play and potty break.
We need this person to be a team player and willing to fill in when needed.
