JOB SUMMARY:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Purchasing/Retail Manager and is located at The Stables Casino.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
Creates and ensures a fun filled, entertaining and exciting environment.
Greets and provides our guests with fast, fun, friendly, focused service, while taking orders and serving drinks.
Incorporate a stage personality while serving guests drinks for extended periods of time.
Ensure guest satisfaction, drink quality, cleanliness and sanitation of the gaming floor and drink stations.
Know and use safe practices for handling food and beverages.
Has knowledge of the food offered and times of availability.
Has knowledge of common drinks being served, ingredients, and prices.
Answer questions about drinks, making recommendations upon request.
Inform guests of daily drink specials (if available)
Check guest’s identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Write guests drink order on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into point of sale (POS) for transmittal to bar staff.
Remove glasses or drink containers from gaming areas and take them to the station for cleaning or disposal.
Has knowledge of proper tea/coffee urn cleaning and refilling as well as how often this needs to be done throughout the shift.
Ensure the shift checklist is completed and duties are equally divided amongst other GSAs on each shift.
Present bills, accept payments, operate the cash register.
Push unused chairs in while walking the gaming floor to eliminate trip hazards and keep the gaming floor looking uniform.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training (preferred)
Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License through the ABLE Commission.
May be subject to criminal background investigation.
Must possess high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
Maintains excellent working relationships with other company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
