Toddler Teacher

Position is Monday through Friday 7:30-4:30.
Responsibilities: - Follow age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children - Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions - Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child - Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education - Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing feedback and recommendations as needed - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Skills: - Strong behavior management skills to create a positive and structured learning environment - Experience in curriculum development, incorporating various teaching methods and resources - Effective classroom management techniques to engage and motivate young learners - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Ability to care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being - Proficient in promoting literacy education through age-appropriate activities - Understanding of childhood development milestones and the ability to tailor instruction accordingly - Familiarity with daycare regulations and licensing requirements Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting preferred but not required - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children We offer competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
