She's a tank.
Yeah, she's old.
The paint isn't perfect, but it's not bad.
The body probably has a little ding somewhere, but there's no real damage.
The headlight covers are the same old plastic as anything 16 years old.
The two front tires really need replaced and the TPMS needs a battery.
The interior isn't perfect, but it's close.
The leather is good, the door panels have wear on replaceable armrest panels if you really care.
No sagging headliner, no giant scratches, etc.
The electronics package isn't a 2024 model, but the bluetooth works, it's just clunky as hell.
The navigation works, it's just old.
There's no backup camera but there is a Bose sound system and subwoofer that still sound great.
The good? Remember the tank thing? CX9's were built to take a beating.
There's an internal roll cage, air bags all around, metal frames and crumple zones.
If you break this thing and hurt yourself you worked at it.
There's a radar blind spot warning system (ok, the sensor needs adjusted, but it's good most of the time) and all wheel drive.
The big V6 has tons of torque and a low first gear and takes off like it has real oomph.
It handles like a car with a tight suspension, not like a van, and it still seats 7 (the two rear fold up seats are mostly for kids, not much head room).
She's been maintained well and she runs and drives great without a thought.
You won't find a better version of "car" in this age and class and it's got a new battery.
That battery? That's why I finally decided to sell it.
I've had it for a lot of years and drove it around the country and hauled kids everywhere.
Those kids grew up and drove it.
Those kids are in the army or looking at college etc and the car just sits there now.
This is the second time I just replaced a battery for this car because it sat for a year without any miles put on it so it's time for it to get cleaned off and find a new home instead of me paying for insurance every month.
Think it's not worth that much? Look at what it needs, knock something off, and make me an offer.
Think it's worth a hell of a lot less? Shoot me an offer.
I've got a good title, you need to bring a good offer and cash, that's all.
