*General Definition:*Provide a full range of administrative support to the Business Committee and their staff.
Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work.
Incumbent must project a professional company image through in-person and telephone interactions ensuring excellent customer service.

*Essential Job Functions:*
· Welcome office visitors, determines the nature of their business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
· Read and route incoming mail.
Prepares outgoing mail and routine correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
· Organize and maintain file systems, records, and correspondence.
· Answer, screen, forward, and relay calls for the Business Committee office their staff.
· Assist in arranging conferences calls for the Business Committee and their staff.
· Coordinate schedules, make appointments, and schedule meetings for the Business Committee and their staff.
· Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations for the Business Committee and their staff as needed.
· Conduct research, compile reports, and assist in the preparation of reports.
· Order and maintain supplies and equipment.
· Assist other staff as requested by the Director of Operations or the Chief of Staff.
· Process requisitions with appropriate codes and within budget guidelines.
· Other duties as assigned.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
*Education:*
· High School diploma or GED required
· Associates degree
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
· Four (4) years administrative office experience
· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
· Multi-Tasking and time management skills
· Data management and spreadsheet maintenance skills
· Office management skills, including but not limited to typing, data entry, record keeping and filing
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Respect for all Tribal Members, Tribal Officials, Supervisors, and Co-Worker
*Licenses/Certifications/Other:*
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result
· Must be able to pass an adjudicated background check as a condition of employment
*Native American preference policy is as follows*: _Legally enrolled Eastern Shawnee Tribal members shall be given preference if the tribal member’s experience, qualifications, training, and all other criteria including the job posting are equal.
Tribal Members or Citizens of other federally recognized Tribes shall have second preference following the same criteria, followed by any other applicants.
