*Job Title: *Human Resources Coordinator
*Department: *Human Resources
*Reports To: *HR Manager
*FLSA Status: *Hourly
*Summary: *The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment training, onboarding, and benefit administration.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities* · Administers health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
· Assists with recruitment and interview process.
Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and follows-up at the end of the recruiting process.
· Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the manager of HR.
· Assists in full cycle recruitment from pre-hire, new hire setup, through onboarding.
· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
· Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
· Reconciles benefits statements.
· Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
· Assists with processing of terminations.
· Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
· Files documents into appropriate employee files.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
*Mathematical Skills* · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
*Reasoning Ability* · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
