Summary
The Lead Inventory Clerk is responsible for purchasing raw materials, products, and supplies.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
This position will oversee operations of the warehouse in Shipping & Receiving-Inventory Manager absence.
Required Experiences:
High school diploma/GED required
Forklift experience required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the manager planning on inventory audits for trucks and warehouse
Collaborate with admins for trades to schedule truck inventory audits
Collaborate with management and trades on strategic planning for inventory’s future on product retention.
Provide training assistance to other teammates.
Provide feedback on improving inventory processes.
Implementing new inventory and shipping processes.
Oversee operations of the warehouse in Warehouse Manager absence.
Any other duties assigned by management.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to lift, feel, handle or free objects.
The employee must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as well as wet weather.
The use of common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools are involved.
The employee frequently is required to talk, hear, and communicate with other employees.
The employee must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
All employees must wear company-approved safety glasses and steel toe boots while in the plant and warehouse areas.
