Collection Specialist

The individual in this position will possess good communication skills; interpersonal skills, pleasant telephone etiquette, and will excel in a team setting.
To perform this position successfully the preferred incumbent will have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient billing and collections.
The individual will have the skills necessary to read, analyze, and interpret billing guidelines and government regulations.
Maintaining confidentiality, and possessing a professional appearance and attitude is very important.
The individual must demonstrate a continuous commitment to establish access and meet the healthcare needs of a diverse population.
Bilingual skills are required.
