Job Description: As a Staff Accountant at Branco Enterprises, Inc.
, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the accounting department.
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in various areas of financial management, including accounts payable, billings and accounts receivable, general journal entries, and other tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with keying vendor invoices and subcontractor applications for payment accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with the corporate purchasing card program, including gathering and recording receipts from cardholders, adding or removing cardholders, and handling disputed transactions.
Assist in preparing and processing billings and accounts receivable invoices.
Assist the Accounting Manager with General Journal Entries and period end closing procedures.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or CFO.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in business administration or related field (preferred but not required).
Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly within the construction industry (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
