Under general supervision, assists in analysis of actual results, forecasts, budgets, and other ad-hoc requests.
Assists in managing month-end activities, hierarchy maintenance, and security, among other tasks.
Analyzes past and present financial data of the organization and applies financial principles.
Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
What you'll be responsible for: Coordinates month-end close process.
Prepares journal entries, allocations, and monthly financial statements.
Maintains financial reporting hierarchy and data integrity across multiple systems.
Leverages system hierarchy to develop complex reporting.
Maintains security for financial reporting access.
Implements and maintains reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
Complies with internal controls and responds timely to audit requirements.
Acts as a consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications.
Performs financial analyses on operating results.
Evaluates, analyzes and prepares recommendations for revenue, operating expenses, product profitability, capital expenditures, and financial statements.
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for planning and control.
Assists team in executive level reporting packages on a monthly basis.
Supports external financial reporting and communications.
Supports new technology enhancements to improve financial reporting and data visualization.
May assist, train, and develop less experienced peers.
May act as a team lead.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
A minimum 5 years of Corporate Finance, FP&A or Finance Operations, experience within a consolidated reporting environment.
Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to meet aggressive deadlines.
Strong business acumen and desire to strengthen knowledge of the business/industry.
Ability to travel up to 10% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
What would be nice for you to have: Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues.
Works on complex and diverse projects.
Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
Must demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, work effectively with associates at all levels.
Well organized and detail oriented to handle in-depth special projects.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
Able to accurately apply company policies and procedures.
Able to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic math, accounting, and finance principles.
Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience preferred in Peoplesoft, Nvision, OneStream, Tableau, and Workiva.
Able to work with confidential materials and employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
