Treasury Support Specialist will join Jack Henry to support our Accounts Receivable team.
In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and scanning corporate checks to create daily bank deposits.
In addition, you will be cross trained with our Cash Application team and assist with high-volume transactions.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter that is able to effectively work independently as well as within a team environment.
This position will be filled to work at the following Jack Henry office location: Monett, MO.
The target salary range for this position is $33,000 – $38,000, based on experience.
What you’ll be responsible for: Handle transactions related to deposit application.
Sort, scan, and file physical checks as part of established procedures for creating and transmitting remote check deposits.
Apply payments to customer accounts and/or general ledger using data files generated or manually apply payments where data files are not produced.
Create payroll deduction files for employees to reimburse the company (e.
g.
, postage, event tickets, etc.
).
Perform a variety of clerical functions, such as opening and sorting a high volume of mail and email.
Assist other Treasury personnel as needed, including cross-training, and performing duties in the event of an absence.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have: A minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting roles such as: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or Finance OR 6 months working in a Financial Institution.
What would be nice for you to have: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong math and reasoning skills.
Ability to use spreadsheets and other accounting-related programs.
Ability to type accurately and efficiently, including 10-key.
