, are searching for a Summer Tax Intern within our Tax Department to help support our business.

We provide the opportunity for you to gain real tax and accounting professional experience.
Candidates must be able to commit to work at least 20 hours per week, preferably up to 40 hours per week, during the summer months (late-May through early-August).
This is not a remote position and requires availability to work in a professional office setting located at our Corporate Headquarters in Carthage, Missouri.
So, what will you be doing as a Summer Tax Intern?
Assist with corporate income tax compliance including tax returns, extensions, estimated tax payments, and income tax accounting
Tax research and special projects
Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while also providing information to senior staff members
Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
On track to graduate with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferably December 2024 or later)
Some experience with Microsoft Excel
Completion of at least one college level accounting course
Things we consider a plus:
Candidates with a GPA of at least 3.
5 and the completion of a college-level accounting course will be given preference
Ability to work both independently and alongside teammates
Willingness to take initiative
Strong organization skills
