Tax Preparer

Job Title: Tax Preparer Duties: - Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses - Gather and organize financial information and documents from clients - Utilize accounting software and tools to input and calculate tax information - Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify potential deductions or credits - Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing concerns - Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines Skills: - Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, for accurate data entry and calculations - Strong technical accounting skills to accurately prepare complex tax returns - Knowledge of financial sales techniques to identify opportunities for additional services or products - 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients - Ability to analyze financial information and apply tax regulations appropriately - Sales skills to promote services and build client relationships - Familiarity with public accounting practices and procedures We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team.
