Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP - Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries - Assist with financial audits and tax filings - Ensure compliance with regulations - Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records - Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to management - Interpret financial reports and provide recommendations for improvement Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required - CPA certification preferred but not required - Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial report interpretation - Experience with tax preparation and filing - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
