Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities: - Perform technical accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, analyzing cash flow, and conducting account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
Skills: - Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in cash flow analysis and account reconciliation.
- Experience working with accounting software such as Xero or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with financial services, governmental accounting, and corporate accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
