Description:
Position Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Golf Course Manager, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players and assigning tee times to the golfers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Answer telephone, record incoming calls, and take starting time reservations.
Register players and assign them their tee time, making sure all golfers sign the daily register.
Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales.
Issue receipts for all transactions.
Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop.
Maintain daily records and reports.
Always remain courteous with patrons.
Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the Golf Course safety standards.
Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments to include Buffalo Run Casino & Hotel.
Requirements:
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of six months experience as cashier or salesclerk.
General knowledge of the game of golf.
Licensing:
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
Work Requirements:
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
