As we continue to expand our national footprint, we're looking for our first VP of Legal to navigate the intricacies of our growing enterprise with wisdom, integrity, and the Aloha Spirit.
Role Overview:
The VP of Legal at Hawaiian Bros will be the key leader to navigate all corporate and franchise-related legal concerns and initiatives.
Your expertise in franchising, real estate, intellectual property, corporate governance, and employment law will be pivotal to our continued success.
You'll lead with a balance of strategic foresight and respect for our rich cultural heritage.
What You'll Do:
Franchising: Provide guidance through the legal complexities of our franchising model, ensuring compliance and promoting strategic growth.
Real Estate: Oversee real estate transactions, navigating leases, acquisitions, and property management with sound legal acumen.
Corporate Governance: Uphold corporate integrity, advising on policy and ethical conduct.
Intellectual Property: Safeguard our unique brand and creative assets.
Litigation and Risk Management: Lead litigation strategies and manage risks, keeping our 'ohana safe and secure.
Team Leadership: Inspire, build, and develop a future legal team that's as dedicated to excellence as they are to the Aloha Spirit.
Manage Legal Partnerships: Seek outside counsel support with prudence; manage legal expense with sound business savvy.
What We're Looking For:
A JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
10+ years of legal experience in the hospitality or restaurant industries with organizations that conduct business in multiple states.
Demonstrated experience in franchise, real estate, intellectual property, corporate governance and employment law.
Leadership that can inspire a team, communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and make decisions infused with the Aloha Spirit.
Ambition that transcends earning a living and characterizes a long-term life journey with a family that values respect, integrity, and positivity.
